You're met at Kuala Lumpur International Airport and transferred to your centrally located city hotel. Settle in and take the evening at your own pace — perhaps a first taste of KL's street food and night-market buzz close to the hotel.
After breakfast, a guided tour of the capital's landmarks: the Petronas Twin Towers and KLCC park, colonial Merdeka Square, Chinatown and the stalls of Central Market. Time for local food and shopping before an evening back in the city.
A morning at Batu Caves — the golden Murugan statue, the 272 rainbow steps and the cave temples — then a scenic drive up to Genting Highlands, passing the Chin Swee Caves Temple as you climb. Check in to your highland hotel and feel the temperature drop as you settle into the resort.
A full day to enjoy the mountain at your own pace — theme-park rides and indoor attractions, a ride on the Awana SkyWay cable car, shopping along SkyAvenue and the cool highland air. Ideal for families and groups who want a relaxed, do-as-much-or-as-little day.
Enjoy a final highland breakfast before descending to Kuala Lumpur for your airport transfer and onward journey. Prefer to keep going? We can add nights in KL or Genting, or link this trip to a beach or island escape.

Before you go
Pack for the cool
Genting sits around 1,800 m up, so it's markedly cooler than steamy KL — often in the mid-to-high teens Celsius. Bring a light jacket or layers even though the city is hot and humid.
Best time to visit
Both KL and Genting are year-round destinations. Expect warm, humid days in the city and cool, sometimes misty weather on the mountain. We'll advise on timing when you enquire.
Currency
The Malaysian Ringgit (MYR / RM). Cards work in malls, hotels and at the resort; keep some cash for hawker stalls, markets and smaller vendors.
Getting up the mountain
The ascent is a scenic, winding drive of roughly an hour from KL, often finished by the Awana SkyWay cable car. Worth knowing if anyone in your group is sensitive to winding roads or heights.
Dress code at Batu Caves
Batu Caves is a place of worship — shoulders and knees should be covered. Light, breathable clothing suits KL's climate; add a layer for the highlands.

Is the US$799 price per person? What does it cover?
Yes — it's a starting price, per person, for the 5-day itinerary based on twin-share accommodation. It covers your city and highland hotels, daily breakfast, airport and listed transfers (including KL ⇄ Genting), the sightseeing in the itinerary, selected entrance fees and local assistance. Your final quote depends on travel dates, hotel choice, group size and whether you'd like it private.
How cold is Genting, and what should we pack?
Genting is a genuine highland climate — often mid-to-high teens Celsius and sometimes misty, a real contrast to hot, humid KL. Pack a light jacket or a couple of layers for the mountain days, and lightweight clothing for the city.
Are theme-park and ride tickets included?
Selected entrance fees are included as listed, but individual theme-park passes, ride tickets and optional attractions at Genting are generally added on top so you only pay for what your group wants to do. Tell us your plans and we'll fold the right tickets into your quote.
Is this a good trip for families with children?
It's built with families in mind — a relaxed leisure day at the resort, the cable car, and plenty to do at your own pace. The only physical element to note is the 272-step climb at Batu Caves, which can be taken slowly or admired from the base.

No — international flights aren't included unless we've specifically stated so in your quote. We can advise on convenient arrival times into Kuala Lumpur and arrange transfers to match your flights.
