You'll settle near Pantai Cenang — the island's liveliest beach for sunsets, swimming and water sports — ride the SkyCab up Gunung Machinchang to the curved Langkawi SkyBridge, and spend a morning winding through the Kilim Karst Geoforest Park, where sea eagles circle over mangrove channels and 500-million-year-old rock. A boat winds through the Kilim Karst Geoforest Park — limestone sea stacks and arches, mangrove channels, bat caves, and brahminy kites and sea eagles wheeling overhead.

You're met at Langkawi International Airport and transferred to your hotel near the west-coast beaches. Settle in and unwind — and if your timing is right, head down to Pantai Cenang for your first island sunset over the Andaman Sea.
A relaxed day on the island's most popular beach. Swim, stretch out on the sand, or add optional water sports — jet-ski, parasailing and island boat trips all launch from here. As the afternoon fades, the beachfront comes alive for one of Langkawi's signature sunsets.
After breakfast, head to the Oriental Village to board the SkyCab for the steep climb up Gunung Machinchang. At the top, walk out onto the curved Langkawi SkyBridge for sweeping views over the archipelago and, on a clear day, all the way to Thailand. The afternoon is yours to relax.
A morning boat cruise through the Kilim Karst Geoforest Park, on the island's northeast. Glide past towering limestone cliffs and sea stacks, into mangrove channels alive with wildlife — eagles overhead, macaques on the banks, and bat caves along the way — in one of the most important ecosystems in the region.
Enjoy a final breakfast and, depending on your flight, some free time — a last beach walk or a little duty-free shopping (Langkawi is a duty-free island). You're then transferred to the airport for your onward journey — or, if you'd like to stay longer, we can add nights or link this to a city or highlands escape.

Before you go
Best time to visit
Langkawi's drier, sunnier months run roughly November to April — ideal for beaches and boat trips. The wetter season brings short, heavy showers. We'll advise on timing when you enquire.
Currency & duty-free
The Malaysian Ringgit (MYR / RM). Langkawi is a duty-free island, so chocolate, alcohol and some goods are noticeably cheaper — worth leaving a little room in your bag.
The cable car & weather
The SkyCab is weather-dependent and may pause in high wind or lightning. Mornings are usually clearer with shorter queues, so we build it into the day accordingly.
Getting around
The island's sights are spread out, so your transfers to the cable car and Kilim jetty are arranged for you. Beyond the itinerary, taxis and rentals are easy to organise.
What to pack
Beachwear, reef-safe sunscreen and a hat for the sand and boat, plus light shoes and a layer for the cable car and mangrove walk. Modest cover-ups are handy for any temple or mosque stop.

Are international flights included?
No — international flights aren't included unless we've specifically stated so in your quote. Langkawi is reached by a short flight or ferry, usually via Kuala Lumpur or Penang; we can advise on the best routing and arrange your transfers to match.

Is the cable car OK if I'm not great with heights?
The SkyCab is fully enclosed and one of the most popular things to do on the island. If the SkyBridge itself feels a step too far, you can enjoy the views from the top station instead — and there's a gentler SkyGlide option for part of the route. It's weather-dependent, so we plan around clear conditions.
Do I need a visa for Malaysia?
