Langkawi is an archipelago of 99 islands scattered across the Andaman Sea off Malaysia's northwest coast — a UNESCO Global Geopark of rainforest-covered peaks, mangrove waterways and some of the softest beaches in the region. It's the kind of place where the plan is to have no plan.
This six-day escape is paced for couples. You'll base yourself near Pantai Cenang, the island's most loved stretch of sand, with time simply to be — long beach mornings, an island-hopping cruise past the legendary Lake of the Pregnant Maiden, the vertigo and views of the Langkawi Sky Bridge, and a sunset cruise to end on. Transfers, a beachside hotel and daily breakfast are all handled.

Set out across the Andaman Sea to Pulau Dayang Bunting and its freshwater Lake of the Pregnant Maiden, watch eagles circle at Pulau Singa Besar, and swim off the white sand of Pulau Beras Basah.
The Sky Bridge & Cable Car
Ride the SkyCab up Gunung Mat Cincang and step onto the 125-metre curved Sky Bridge, suspended high above the rainforest with the whole archipelago spread below.

Your 6-day itinerary
A gentle rhythm — a couple of signature experiences, and plenty of open time to enjoy the island your own way. Breakfast daily and all listed transfers included.
You're met at Langkawi International Airport and transferred to your beachside hotel near Pantai Cenang. Settle in, then wander down to the sand for your first island sunset. Nothing to do tonight but ease into island time.
A full day to enjoy the beach and your resort. Swim, laze, book a couples' spa treatment, or try the water sports along the strip. As the light softens, the beachfront cafés and bars come alive for another west-coast sunset.
Today you head out on the island-hopping cruise. Glide between limestone islets to Pulau Dayang Bunting for the Lake of the Pregnant Maiden, watch sea eagles soar at Pulau Singa Besar, and stop to swim and unwind on the white sand of Pulau Beras Basah before cruising back.
Ride the Langkawi Cable Car up Gunung Mat Cincang for sweeping views, then walk out onto the curved Sky Bridge suspended high over the treetops. Back at sea level, the afternoon is yours — the Oriental Village, a waterfall, or simply back to the beach.
A day with nothing fixed — explore the Kilim mangroves, browse Langkawi's duty-free shops, or stay put by the water. In the evening, set sail on a sunset cruise: the sky over the Andaman Sea turning gold and rose as the island slips behind you.
One last slow breakfast and, if your flight allows, a final morning on the sand. You're then transferred to the airport for your onward journey — or, if you're not ready to leave, we can extend your stay or add a Penang or mainland leg.

Best time to visit
The dry season, roughly November to April, brings the clearest skies and calmest seas — ideal for beaches and cruising. We'll advise on timing and tides when you enquire.
Currency & duty-free
The Malaysian Ringgit (MYR / RM). Langkawi is a duty-free island, so chocolate, perfume and a few other things are noticeably cheaper — worth a browse.
On the water
For the island cruise, bring swimwear, a towel and reef-safe sunscreen, and something for your feet on the jetties. Cruises run subject to weather and sea conditions.
Getting around
The island is spread out and best explored by taxi or a private car with your guide. Your transfers and listed sightseeing are arranged; ask us about a private driver for the free days.

Are international flights included?
No — international flights aren't included unless we've specifically stated so in your quote. Langkawi is reached by a short flight or ferry via the Malaysian mainland; we'll advise on the smoothest routing and arrange your transfers to match.
Is this a good honeymoon or anniversary trip?

What's the island-hopping cruise like — and is it suitable for everyone?
It's a boat trip across calm coastal waters with stops for the Pregnant Maiden lake, eagle watching and a beach swim, typically a half-day. There's some walking and a few steps at the lake. It suits most travellers, but do let us know of any mobility concerns and we'll advise or arrange a private boat.
