Settle into your villa, then let the first afternoon be as slow as you like: a walk along the beach, a first dip in the lagoon, and dinner as the sun goes down.
A gentle first full day: a walk-through of the resort's family facilities and activity schedule, a first house-reef snorkel a few steps from your villa, and time by the pool or on the beach. No excursions booked — this day is about settling in properly before the trip's more active days.
A guided boat trip out to a nearby reef with resort marine staff, suited to snorkelling at a range of confidence levels. Expect colourful reef fish and coral, with turtles and reef sharks a regular but never guaranteed sighting. Back at the resort by early afternoon, with the rest of the day free.
A late-afternoon boat cruise timed for the resort's known dolphin-sighting waters, watching pods of spinner or bottlenose dolphins as the sky turns gold. Sightings are common in Maldivian waters but, like all wildlife, never guaranteed. The rest of the day is free for the beach, pool or a nap.
A full day left open on purpose: resort pool, beach time, watersports and any kids' club programming the property runs. If you'd rather book a spa treatment or a couple's dinner while the kids are occupied, we can arrange it in advance.
A final unstructured day to fit in whatever the trip is missing — one more snorkel, a stand-up paddleboard session, a sandbank visit if the resort offers one, or simply more time doing nothing at all. A closing family dinner in the evening rounds out the stay.
