City first, coastline second. Days 4–6 are written for Phuket, with the Koh Samui equivalent noted alongside — tell us which island and we'll confirm the exact plan.
You're met at the airport and transferred to your centrally located hotel. Take the evening slowly — a walk along the riverside promenade, or straight into a rooftop bar for your first Thai sunset as a married couple. No plans required tonight.
A guided morning through the city's grandest sights — the temple complexes and river-facing landmarks that give Bangkok its skyline — with time to browse, take photos and pause for lunch by the water. The itinerary here is built to feel unhurried rather than ticked off a list.
An afternoon at leisure — a couples' spa treatment or simply time by the pool — before an evening built for two: a long-tail boat ride along the canals as the light fades, then dinner either riverside or amid the neon and street food of Yaowarat, Bangkok's Chinatown.
A short domestic flight to your chosen island, where you're met and transferred straight to your beach resort. The rest of the day is unscheduled by design — check in, change into something lighter, and let the pace drop.
Phuket: settle into your stretch of Andaman coastline, with the option of a private sunset cruise or simply the beach in front of your hotel. Koh Samui: the same idea on the Gulf side — calmer water, a slower rhythm, and beach bars built for watching the day end.
Phuket: a boat day to Phi Phi Islands or Phang Nga Bay's limestone karsts, or a quieter alternative — the drive out to Promthep Cape for sunset. Koh Samui: the golden Big Buddha at Wat Phra Yai, followed by an evening stroll and dinner in Fisherman's Village, Bophut. Either way, this is the day built around one unhurried, memorable moment.
A final beachfront breakfast, then a transfer to the airport for your onward or return flight. Want to stretch the honeymoon further? We can add nights on the island, layer in another destination, or arrange a stopover on the way home.

Before you go
Best time to visit
Thailand is warm year-round. Bangkok and the Gulf coast (Koh Samui) are driest roughly December–April, while Phuket's Andaman coast sees its rainy season May–October. We'll advise on timing once we know your dates and chosen island.
Currency
The Thai Baht (THB). Cards are widely accepted in Bangkok and resort areas; carry some cash for markets, beach vendors and small local restaurants.
Choosing your island
Phuket suits couples who want dramatic scenery and easy day-trips (Phi Phi, Phang Nga Bay). Koh Samui suits a quieter, slower pace with fewer crowds. Neither is "better" — it's a mood, not a ranking, and we're happy to talk it through.
What to pack
Light, breathable clothing, swimwear, a light layer for air-conditioned interiors, sun protection and comfortable sandals. Modest cover-ups are needed for temple visits — shoulders and knees covered.
Getting between Bangkok and the coast
A one-hour-plus domestic flight connects Bangkok to both Phuket and Koh Samui, with frequent daily departures. We handle the booking and the airport transfers on both ends.

Is the US$1,399 price per person? What does it cover?
Yes — that's a starting price, per person, for the 7-day itinerary based on twin-share accommodation. It covers your hotels, daily breakfast, airport and listed transfers, the sightseeing in the itinerary, selected entrance fees and local assistance. The final figure depends on your travel dates, hotel choice and which island you pick, so we confirm an exact quote when you enquire.
Do we choose Phuket or Koh Samui before booking, or on arrival?
Before booking. We need to know which island to confirm hotels and the domestic flight, so it's one of the first things we'll ask when you enquire. If you're torn between the two, tell us what you're after — dramatic scenery and day trips, or a quieter, slower pace — and we'll help you decide.
Are international flights included?
No — international flights aren't included unless we've specifically stated so in your quote. Bangkok is well connected from Australia; the domestic flight onward to Phuket or Koh Samui is included in the package.
Can you add honeymoon extras like a private dinner or spa day?
Yes — this is exactly the kind of trip where those touches matter most. A private beachfront dinner, a couples' spa afternoon, room decoration for your arrival, or a sunset cruise can all be added. None of it is in the base price, but all of it is easy to arrange once we know what you'd like.
How much time do we actually get on the beach?
Three full days and nights on the island, with one of those built around a signature outing (a boat day, a viewpoint sunset, or the Big Buddha and Fisherman's Village, depending on your island) and the rest left open for the beach, the pool, or nothing at all.
Do I need a visa for Thailand?
It depends on your nationality. Many travellers can enter Thailand visa-free for short tourist stays, but requirements do change. Please verify based on your own passport before you travel — we're glad to point you to the right official source.
